Now in our second year, Kirklees Business Conference consists of a FREE full day programme of business specific seminars, an exhibition involving close to 60 businesses, a clinic where you can cure your business ailments along with unlimited networking for all involved.
The whole ethos of KBC is to offer a greater support mechanism to Kirklees businesses.
KBC ‘10 will provide business leaders, entrepreneurs and start-ups across Kirklees with the opportunity to improve skill sets not only for themselves, but also within their companies.

Kirklees Business Conference offers Kirklees businesses a single location where advice and assistance are readily available across one day via seminars, an exhibition and excellent networking opportunities with hundreds of companies present on the day.
Seminars on the day come from business celebrity Brad Burton, MD of the revolutionary 4Networking; Richard McCann, a true ‘inspirational speaker’ in a sea of those who don’t inspire and Sharon Wright, the Dragon Slayer, who had all five of the BBC Dragons fighting over an investment in her company, Magnamole.

Just a quick hello to say how much I enjoyed the Kirklees Business Conference yesterday!
When I arrived (approx 8.45am), I thought, I will be in and out within two hours! I left at approx 2.45pm! If it wasn’t for a previous booked appointment in Wakefield for 4pm, I am sure I would have been there until much later!
Nicky was fantastic! I was fortunate to talk with her very briefly after her gig!

I really enjoyed the day….I was not feeling well at all and dragged myself to attend….the first speaker, Nicky, blew me away and then after every contact I made has proved to be a god send…..I’ve not wasted anytime and got meetings lined up as a result from attending! I look forward to another event again next year. You did a great job.

I just wanted to drop you a note of thanks for today’s conference. Unfortunately I had to head off and meet a client, so missing my booked slot for Carl Hopkins, however I thoroughly enjoyed Nicky Pattinson’s presentation/story and took a lot away from it.
Having only established my business at the beginning of 2009, and prior to that held senior finance positions in companies located outside of Kirklees, I had little experience of the business community in and around the area. After today’s event, I’m under no illusion that the local business community is thriving.
